Hello WAAS Families!
We are looking forward to seeing you at our Back to School Beach Bash on Friday evening, August 21 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Carolina Beach. This free event is sponsored by our Student Government Association, and students, former students, siblings and parents are invited to this fun back to school celebration.
The following information might be helpful:
Beginning at 5:00 pm and under a parent’s supervision, students may join in the beach fun at Hamlet Street access (by the Marriott Hotel) in Carolina Beach. Mrs. Errante and Mr. and Mrs. Giacomelli will meet you there to play and surf. There are showers and pay parking ($1.50 an hour). You might want to bring beach chairs, beach toys, surf boards, drinks, towels and a change of clothes.
At 6:30, you may begin to gather at the Carolina Beach Lake Park Shelter (across the street) for grilled hotdogs and all of the fixings! Bottles of water and a cool treat will also be provided.
Come catch the waves with Mrs. Errante and Mr. Giacomelli as we celebrate a great beginning to a fabulous new school year! We hope to see you there!
