Christine Ashley – Office Manager

Engaging with students, families, and teachers is what makes me happy to come to work! I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, with a B.A. in Independent Studies. After working in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia, in nonprofit management and member advocacy, I returned home to Southeastern North Carolina, with my husband, David, to be closer to family and to raise our own. Changing careers to work in an educational setting was a natural progression from spending so much time volunteering in my sons’ schools, where I gained a passion for working with children and supporting educators! Outside of work, my favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. You can also find me taking the world’s sweetest Jack Russell Terrier, Ruby, for long walks, reading, meeting friends for coffee, and planning my next trip to the mountains.
