Congratulations to Farhan Sanukri as his Young Authors piece was chosen as a State Winner. The Tree That Bent was a Judge’s Choice, and he will be recognized by the North Carolina Reading Association on March 17.

What? Eagle Scout Fundraiser
When? Monday, February 12th
Where? Highway 55 on Carolina Beach Road
How Long? From 5 P.M. to 9 P.M.
This fundraiser is planned to raise money for my Eagle Scout project. Highway 55 will donate a percentage of their sales on Monday, February 12 to my restoring a World War 1 Rifle Range at Caswell Beach.
Volunteering to help with his project may count toward volunteer hours for this 9 weeks.
