Wilmington Academy of Arts and Sciences is looking for a part time assistant to work with our 4th/5th grade teacher for next year. Ideally, we are seeking someone with some teaching experience who can work with small groups and/or co teach Language Arts and help the teacher with clerical work (bulletin boards, grading, paperwork, etc.) The hours are 10:00-2:00, but we can be flexible on an as needed basis.
This is a perfect position for a retired teacher or Education major or Graduate Student at UNCW. Working with highly motivated and gifted students at WAAS will provide enjoyable and valuable experience.
