Hello WAAS Families!
We are off to another great week at WAAS despite the rain and inside recess the past two days. Students are engaged in every class, and there is much learning taking place! It is wonderful to be a part of it!
I hope that Sept. 26 at 7:00 pm is on your calendar to attend our seminar on Critical Thinking Skills and ways to help your child outside the classroom. I am looking forward to meeting with you to share with you some information and strategies that should help improve your child’s thinking and communication skills (writing and speaking). Please click on this link to sign up and bring a friend!

Since I am often asked by parents what they can do to support the teachers and let them know how much they are appreciated, I have designed a list of their favorite beverages and snacks. Our teachers arrive to school early and work late, and these items are much appreciated. Once we are here, we do not like to leave. Please click on this link to see if this is an area that might interest you.
