Hello WAAS Families!
We are busy preparing for  our new school year, and we are thrilled that you and your child(ren) will be a part of it!  Below are several reminders:

WAAS APPAREL
Tomorrow, June 30 is the deadline to order WAAS apparel!  Shipping is added to your bill,  and your order will be delivered to your home by August 1.
This clothing usually runs true to size with minimal shrinkage, but I do recommend that you allow growing room.
Please note that the short sleeve Tshirts are typically the most popular among students, but we have added short sleeve polos. We have also added some outerwear that can be used for males and females.  The tanks are for recreation purposes only and not for regular school attire.
You will have another opportunity to order in November and February.

Please place your order by tomorrow!
CLASSROOM SUPPLIES
We have found that posting each teacher’s supply list on the individual teacher’s web page helps students to determine what is actually needed for that class.  That is where you will find the supply lists.  Our new teachers, Mrs. Sciales and Miss Cubbage, will have their webpage designed by mid July. Students will have an opportunity to bring their supplies and place them in their locker on Thursday, August 10 during our Back to School Night!

4th  Grade Students will have the following teachers:
Mrs. Sandy Sciales  (all core subjects)
Mrs. Sandy Errante  (Explorations)
Mrs. Stephanne Marsh (Spanish)
5th Grade Students will have the following teachers:
Mrs. Sandy Sciales  (all core subjects except math)
Mr. Jesse Simon (6th grade math)
Mrs. Sandy Errante  (Explorations)
Mrs. Stephanne Marsh (Spanish)
6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students will have the following teachers:
Miss Cubbage   Social Studies (Ancient History)
Mrs. Giacomelli  Science (Chemistry and Physics)
Mrs. Puritis  Language Arts
Mr. Simon    Math (6th Grade Pre Alg, 7th Grade Math 1 and 8th Grade Math 2)
Mrs. Errante (Explorations)
Mrs. Marsh  (Spanish)

Students should have their names on their notebooks and  calculators.  The teachers will assist the students with the labeling and organization of the materials.  An agenda/planner for homework assignments will be provided for the students.  For consistency, we ask the students to use what we provide.
Many of our parents have chosen to  purchase a locker shelf to assist with organization. This link will take you to the shelf that has proven to be the most popular among parents.

Information for order hot lunches will be sent to you in July.  Once our student directory is updated, we will send it to you, hopefully within the next two weeks.
Due to the holidays, the school will be closed  the week of July 4th.
As always, please contact me if you have questions.
Happy Summer!
