Mr. Simon’s math classes participated in a pi digit challenge on Tuesday, March 18th. They learned songs on Pi Day to help them remember as many digits of this fascinating irrational number as they could. The top five students in each class were celebrated and awarded a homework pass. However, we had a few students who went above and beyond and are a part of the “100 Digits of Pi” club. Congratulations to Tyler Nichols (300), Myra Shanker (211), Lucy Yokubaitis (210), Harrison Lacy (149), Mira Hu (144), and Anna Dehmer (100) who can recite/record Pi to 100 Digits or more. Very impressive!!
