Congratulations to 7th Grader Anna Dehmer, and 5th Grader Powell Andrews on their Azalea Art Contest entries being selected for showcase at the Community Arts Center in the Hannah Block Historic USO Building this Spring! The North Carolina Azalea Festival Youth Art Contest is an annual contest showcasing the amazing artistic talents of the youth in our community, and across our state. The theme of the contest this year was “Love Where You Live . . . in the Springtime!” Anna’s artwork is entitled Duck Picnic, and Powell’s artwork is entitled Koi Pond.

The showcase of student art, along with our Essay and Poetry contest winners work, will be open until April 27th, and features submissions from local Elementary, Middle, and High School students.
