We are proud to offer the following camps this summer.

How to Fine Tune Your Writing:
Dates: July 15-19
Time: 9:30- 11:30
Cost: $200
Description:
This week long camp will focus on diction, sentence structure, and organization of essay writing. A writer can have great ideas, but unless they are well worded, no one will want to read or listen. Participants will set out to revise the work of others before turning the mirror upon some of their own work. Focus will also be on thesis statements and topic sentences, particularly how to write sophisticated and strong guiding sentences with transitions. Grammar review will be involved in order to determine best sentence structure. All grade levels can attend.
*A minimum of ten students must register in order for the camp to go ahead. Please email Mrs. Puritis to register by June 7th.
