A Message from Emily Reiniche….
The WAAS Strategic Planning Committee is looking for new members for the 2018 – 2019 school year.
The Strategic Planning (SP) Committee is a working committee made up of parents and staff that want to make a difference in our school community. The SP Committee takes on small and large projects to improve the lives of our students and faculty. In the past, we have completed a teacher survey and implemented several teacher recommendations, launched a new website and completed the first WAAS Strategic Plan. We also highlighted our amazing MathCounts and Science Olympiad teams in billboard advertisements.
Our vision for WAAS is to be The School for Academic Excellence in Southeastern NC, and we would love your help. Currently, we are looking for parents who will help us with things such as:
Teacher Retention
Field Trip Planning
New Family Orientation/Family Mentoring
Student Recruitment
Much More!
