Everyone has been asking when we would have another yarn doll community service opportunity, and the time is now! We have a lot of dolls to make! They need to be ready to go to Ecuador on June 30th, so that we have dolls to give to the children that wait in our medical clinics. We anticipate seeing over 2,000 people in our medical clinic, with approximately half being children.
What: Yarn Dolls for Ecuador – Community Service
Where: WAAS Lunch Room
When: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 2:30-4:00 pm
All materials for the yarn dolls will be provided, we just need willing hands to make the dolls.

VISION FOR ECUADOR – Reading Glasses Drive
In addition, we are currently having a “Vision for Ecuador” drive. If you happen to be in Dollar Tree, please consider picking up a pair or two of reading glasses. We need all strengths, but 1.0 – 3.75 are our most needed. We can also take used reading glasses, so if you have any old or extra pairs at home, please feel free to bring those in. There are two blue buckets on the benches in the front lobby where any donations can be placed.
The families of WAAS are the most giving and generous people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My heart overflows each time I make a request, as it has always been fulfilled. You have done so much this year, and I was hesitant to even mention the Vision for Ecuador drive. Please know that I appreciate each of you and your hearts to make our world a better place.
