Dear WAAS Community,
Ten days ago, an invitation to donate to the WAAS Annual Fundraiser was mailed to each family.
Our goal for this year is $20,000 since we have more students and families enrolled at WAAS.
Last year we raised $17,000 to fund the much needed drainage repairs and paving of our parking lot. Last week end was a great testament to how well the money was spent. Had we not made the repairs, our building could have experienced extreme flooding inside our building, and our students would have been displaced for a while. Due to the generosity of our parents during the 2014-2015 Annual Fund drive, we all reap the benefits of a driveway and parking lot free from flooding!
Your donation to our Annual Fund will continue to help fund our teacher’s AIG certifications in addition to making some much needed building maintenance and repairs. Your contributions make a huge impact on the students’ learning environment.
To those of you who have sent in your contributions, THANK YOU!. You should soon be receiving a donation receipt for tax purposes. If you are in need of additional pledge cards, please ask Mrs. Upton as she will be happy to provide you with it.
